Humility in a Nutshell

Today's nutty clip art offering is crunchy and deliceous. Let's hear it for Peanuts.

Agricultural scientist, George Washington Carver invented over 300 uses for peanuts and had countless other acheivments, not the least of which was that he was a dedicated humanitarian.

According to Carver, "It is not the style of clothes one wears, neither the kind of automobile one drives, nor the amount of money one has in the bank, that counts. These mean nothing. It is simply service that measures success."

And here's another one.......

"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these."
